Karl Jäckel

Karl Jäckel (20 December 1913, Gladbeck, Westphalia – 7 December 1984, Neubrandenburg) was a German U-boat coxswain in World War II and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross ((ドイツ語:Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes)). The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.
